Went here after a funeral and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Especially nice in the garden where we could sit and chill out in the sunshine. Bar was quite pricey but in line with what I'd expect to pay at a hotel like this and cheaper than hotels in Dartmoor
Love the place. Staff are very friendly and helpful. So much so I'm getting married there this August.

An absolute gem of a B & B. Wonderful warm hospitality. Terrific room and facilities and a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended. Its modern, spotless and right in the heart of the town. Simply superb. 10 out of 10 !
Stayed there for a night. The B & B was very good! The host was friendly and helpful. The room was ready 2h before the time expected. The location of the hotel is just outside the high street. The room was clean and charming with views over the hills. We had breakfast in the conservatory and it was really good. They also have great coffee. In overall, it's not expensive and a great experience, will definitely come back

Stayed at the hotel for a night and had a meal in the evening. The room was clean, modern and good value. The food was typical Wetherspoon and a mixed bag. The steaks were overcooked (even after a second attempt) and chips cold. Other elements were fine, as were desserts. The drinks were served well. Service was generally friendly. Breakfast in the morning was better than the evening meal, though the bacon could have been hotter. Overall I would recommend the room but probably not the food.
Would definitely recommend.. very good standard accommodation. The service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.. Food was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Only small point in regards to drop off / pick up with limited parking on main road.

Amazing place. Beautiful decor, relaxed friendly courteous staff, and have never had a disappointing meal. I've been there for full on 3 course dinners, nibbles and bottle of wine with a friend, and sitting under blankets in their outdoor garden seating with my children on a Friday night. Can't fault them. A real favourite treat.
Excellent food and service. We dropped in by chance and got lucky with a table at the bar as they were fully booked in the restaurant. Ox cheek was rich and delicious.

Had a lovely meal, best steak and ale pie I've ever had! Food cooked beautifully and all served piping hot. Would definitely recommend 😊
A brilliant local pub with great real ales and food. Nice wood burners help make this multi roomed pub very welcoming along with very friendly staff and locals. Difficult to see from the main road but worth taking the time to visit.

A wonderful cottage, located just outside of Tavistock. Annie the host is great and was vey helpful answering any questions we had. The cottage has everything you could possibly need, it's quite, there's no EE network (Heaven), the cottage has wifi if you really can't be without a connection to the outside world. There is parking right outside the cottage and plenty of facilities in the nearest town of Tavistock. If you are looking to explore Dartmoor then this is the perfect place to do just that.
Gorgeous accommodation and an excellent host. Would 100% stay here again.

Some happy friends stayed here. Great views from the front, private parking and easy access to Tavistock
Wonderful place. Beautifully decorated, great location, lovely views and warm welcome. Still retains lots if features from the original station.

Very Cold in the winter, so you'll need to buy some logs to run the fire which has a back boiler, we used x3 bags in 2 days, also only single glazed windows so a bit loud at night Nice place / area would go back in the Spring/Summer
CCC...clean...comfortable...convenient. Lovely little cottage 5 mins walk into the town. Perfect for that Devon Break you always promised yourself.

I've not even spent the night here but felt a review was in order. The house is truly beautifully restored to its period splendor with a lovely soft and gentle touch. The restoration includes period sash windows restored with double glazed window panes. I love it. There are little features all over the house that just remind you how much love the owners have applied to the home. Fabulous.
Brilliant bed and breakfast, Fabulous place to stay and hospitality is exceptional

Always excellent whenever we stay.
With a bit of difficulty, found our farm stay in Tavistock, Devon. It is a stunner, as the spaciousness & luxuriousness are right up there, it has a sweet cottage garden, & best of all, is a 16th Century Elizabethan longhouse, with Victorian wing added. Very rural. Woke to cows. Room accomodation very agreeable. Felt pampered. Great bathroom. Meandering old house, with formal dining room complete with impressive period furniture, huge farmhouse kitchen, & suntrap conservatory overlooking back garden. Old longbarn in partial use & partial dilapidation, pretty interesting. He looks after the farm; she looks after the guests (very well). She is also an enthusiastic gardener, so the setting is worth a wander. The two cats were farm cats, i.e. not house inhabitants, & not exactly pampered pets, either. I think they earned their keep around the barn. Overall, very comfortable indeed. The hostess was very conversable & welcoming.

Fantastic B&B! If we go back to the area we will definitely stay here. The owners and staff have a great knowledge of the area and provide lots of useful contacts. Best thing is the Fruit Basket breakfast... which is huge and has soo many different fruits. My favourite breakfast away from home!
The hidden gem of White church. Loved the butler breakfast in the room.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Amazing place to stay really enjoyed every moment and will definately return. Set in the heart of the tamar valley means that there is plenty to do for all the family. Lovely walks and views around. The campsite has lovely pitches some of which are private meaning they are hedged all the way around. Others are just standard pitches but very well kept. The showers and toilet facilities are a little disappointing with only 2 showed for male and female and one disable shower and toilet. The owners are some of the nicest people on earth and will help you with anything. I really recommend this place highly and defiantly will come back.
Nice place and conditions,l. Located quite distant from most of the attractive points of Devon and Cornwall. The glamping pods are a pleasant experience, but far from worthing the price.

This is a well run family 3holiday village. Just to the north Of Tavistock. And is mentained to a high standard. And is popular with visiting campers. And caravans. The holiday village has good range of good quality facilities. Part of the site had a number of static caravans.
Really lovely site - clean and tidy - good facilities - you can order fish and chips and pastries for breakfast. Great kids play area. Need to keep an eye on the kids if camped next to the river.
