We had an excellent meal at this small restaurant today .....we found the staff really polite and helpful ,the food was excellent......we would highly recommend this small but delightful restaurant.....thank you to all that work hard at keeping standards high .....I especially like the cleanliness as well...

Great coffee. Love the breakfasts. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Nice to have a comfy sofa to relax on occasionally! Great play list.
Had a gorgeous big slice of courgette and avocado cake, decorated with cornflower petals and coffee. Delicious. Friendly staff and art all over the walls. Worth walking a little further to find this little gem.

I always use this take away , the food is fresh and tasty ! They will adapt any dish for you and it’s very authentic tasting . Nice staff too , will continue to use regularly .

A good night club set at the top of town in Tavistock....definitely improved since the refurbishment inside, better layout which makes it feel like there is more space and not a bad price on drinks either! Certainly the go to in Tavistock if you want your stay out until 1-2am!

Just had a takeaway meal from here while on holiday, chose this restaurant because of the previous reviews. The food was out of this world, best Chinese we have had in a long time, also very nicely priced and great service. Really recommend.

They had a great atmosphere, the portions were okay. The food hit the spot but was nothing special. It's a bit pricey for what you get, but if you're craving Chinese food, it works well.
Great food at reasonable prices. The staff are very attentive and my kids loved it.

Went yesterday with my daughter, sister in law and nephew for a cream tea, which was delicious. Staff very friendly and chatty. Very accommodating. I recommend this little café and will definately return

Our experience with Taylors always manages to surpass expectations. Service, atmosphere, food and drink all to a very high standard and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The biggest surprise is at the end of the evening, when we receive the bill. It is extremely good value for money. Highly recommended.
As we’ve always had amazing food and great service in Taylor’s restaurant, we have recently used their catering service. They are clearly an experienced team which definitely showed as the day ran so smoothly. Professional and friendly service that I can’t recommend enough!

What a lovely place in Tavi to sit outside, very idyllic. Super coffee, great choice of food, moderate prices. Inside is also extremely nice. Friendly and relaxed Service. What a shame they close at 5 pm!

A brilliant local pub with great real ales and food. Nice wood burners help make this multi roomed pub very welcoming along with very friendly staff and locals. Difficult to see from the main road but worth taking the time to visit.

This is a very friendly road side pub and eating house. North on the main road out of Tavistock with a car park opposite. Offering a good range of food and drinks has a first floor children's play. Good friendly service from the bar and table service.

Recently renovated and renamed The Explorer is now a very pleasant pub. The decor is slightly unusual but very tasteful creating an extremely comfortable atmosphere. Mid afternoon on a Saturday it was well attended and jovial. According to a menu a standard range of bar food is available 12-3 and 6-9 but,due to a lack of staff it was not up and running when I was there. Up the stairs there is a games room with facilities for darts,snooker and air hockey. Well worth a visit.
Love this pub. Came to Tavistock for the weekend and found this gem. Everyone was so friendly and great beer. Lovely size bar and spotless ladies toilets. Will definitely go back before I go home and visit again in the future. I would highly recommend it. Try it you'll love it too.
